Patrick T. Karl, D.O.
Board Certified Pain Management
Dr. Karl is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree, Dr. Karl attended medical school in Des Moines, IA. He trained in the Wake Forest anesthesiology residency program in Winston Salem, NC for four years. He then completed an interventional pain management fellowship at the Carolinas Pain Institute in Winston Salem, NC. This training emphasized cutting edge technology in many ongoing clinical studies and new drug development for patients in pain. Dr. Karl believes in a multidisciplinary approach to pain management and is prepared to treat all types of chronic pain. He started Magnolia Midlands Pain Management with the intention of bringing new approaches in pain management to an underserved area. Dr. Karl is the only board certified Pain Management Specialist in Wayne County.
Michelle Eggleston, RT-R, MA
Michelle is a Wayne County native and began her career in healthcare by attending and graduating from Coastal Georgia Community College in Brunswick GA with an Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology. She started out at Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick Campus in 1999, performing trauma/ER radiography, routine radiography, fluoroscopy, cardiac catheterization and Interventional radiography. In 2004 she moved to Blowing Rock NC and was trained in CT and bone densitometry. In 2006, she became a Radiology Manager at Total Health Integrated Services, which was a Family Practice/Urgent Care clinic and was trained in medical lab and nursing procedures. After moving back to Georgia in 2009 with her son and husband, she took a position with Magnolia Midlands Pain Management in January, 2010.
Mandy Burke, LPN
Mandy was born and raised in Alma, Georgia. She graduated from Bacon County High School in 1999. She moved to Jesup shortly after high school and has been a native of Wayne County since May 2000. She then attended Altamaha Technical College and graduated December 2004 with a Licensed Practical Nursing degree. She worked in family practice, allergy diagnostics, pediatrics. She started with Magnolia Midlands Pain Management in October of 2009. She received training in Atlanta for Spinal Cord Stimulator patient education. She is an active member of the Wayne County Women’s Junior Service League and the American Cancer Society. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, attending church, reading, scrapbooking, and baking.
Kathy J. Roberson, Nurse
Kathy was born in Florida and moved to Georgia at age 13. She graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1978. She attended Bainbridge College LPN nursing program and graduated in 1979. She worked at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital as well as volunteering with the Seminole County Sheriffs Rescue Unit and with the Seminole County EMS service. She then moved to Wayne County where she worked at Advanced Health care as a Clinical Nurse. She left the health care profession for several years while raising her children, working as a book keeper for a local car dealership. She then returned to the medical field and has been employed with Magnolia Midlands for over a year. She is married and the mother of two boys.
Sharon B Sapp, Practice Manager
Sharon is a native of Wayne County. She worked in the medical field for over 25 years, most of which was as an office manager for a general surgeon in Jesup. She has many years of experience with billing for the medical practice. She took a job as office manager for Magnolia Midlands Pain Management in September 2011. Sharon is active in her church which she has served on the Ladies Ministry Core and she has been a choir member for the last seven years. She is a cancer survivor and is a strong advocate for breast cancer awareness as well as being a committee member for our Wayne County Chapter Relay for Life for the last five years. Sharon is married with one son and two grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with them as much as possible as well as her husband of 34 years.
June E Morris, Patient Coordinator
June is from Wayne County Georgia. After graduation from Wayne County High School, home of the Jesup Yellow Jackets, she pursued a career with the federal government at Fort Stewart, GA as a civilian employee in finance and was in charge of most of the government payroll for employees. June is a two time recipient of the Civilian Medal of Achievement and numerous other awards. This career lead to a strong background in finance and customer service. After she left her government job, she worked with Bank of America. After retirement she started working in the medical field working with Sharon Sapp, at a general surgery office. In October of 2010, she took a position with Magnolia Midlands Pain Management where is in charge of new patient referrals and scheduling and assists the office manager with multiple jobs.
Mandy Noland, Receptionist
Mandy was born and raised in the Blackshear/Waycross area. She attended Pierce County High School graduating with honors in 1995. She attended Waycross College. She has now been in the medical field for the last 16 years, most recently as an optician and office manager. She really enjoys working with the public and helping people. She is married with 3 children. She enjoys all outdoor activities, reading and sewing.
